# Creating Your Club Site

Creating your club’s website in GroupFlow is fast and straightforward. Most clubs get their site online within a few minutes, and you can begin customizing it immediately. This guide walks you through the full process—from signing up for a free trial to accessing the Admin Dashboard for the first time.

## Signing Up for a Free Trial

Most customers begin by signing up for a free trial on the GroupFlow website. The signup form collects a few important details:

* Your email address
* Your club or organization’s name
* Basic information about your group

Once the form is submitted, GroupFlow automatically creates your club’s private site. This includes:

* Your group’s public website, at a GroupFlow-branded domain name
* Your members-only area
* Your Admin Dashboard
* A set of public-facing pages that you can fully customize

The entire process typically takes less than a minute.

## Setting Your Password

After your site is created, you will be prompted to **set a password** for your new admin account.

Once your password is set:

* You will be logged in automatically with full administrator privileges
* You can immediately begin customizing your club site
* No additional account setup is required

## Your New GroupFlow Site

Every new GroupFlow site includes:

* A **public homepage** (which you can fully edit)
* A **public “Join” page** (if your club accepts new members)
* A **members-only area**, including:
  * Preset functional pages
  * Optional pages you can add using the page editor
* An **Events** page and **Calendar** view
* **Chat messaging**
* **Discussion forum**
* An **Admin Dashboard** for managing your club
* **Default navigation**, which you can customize at any time
* **Basic styling** based on your group’s name

Most of these pages can be edited or replaced using the built-in content editor.

## Entering the Admin Dashboard

Once you log in for the first time, you’ll land in the **Admin Dashboard**. This is the central hub where you’ll manage:

* Members
* Events
* Membership dues and renewals
* Payment settings
* Website pages and navigation
* Announcements and email communication
* Member permissions and admin access levels
* Group settings and configuration

The Admin Dashboard is designed to work well on both desktop and mobile, so you can manage your club from anywhere.

## The Getting Started Checklist

On your first visit, you'll see a **Getting Started Checklist** at the top of the dashboard. The checklist guides you through the essential steps required to launch your club on GroupFlow.

Based on the interface, the checklist currently includes the following items:

### ✔ Invite other leaders to help manage your group

Add your board members, officers, or co-organizers so they can assist with managing events, members, content, and dues.

### ✔ Assign team members to team email lists

Choose which admins receive announcements, support requests, and system notifications.

### ✔ Pick your group’s colors to match your brand

Customize your website’s color palette to align with your club’s branding.

### ✔ Add your logo and other important branded images

Upload your club logo, header images, and any other branded assets you want to use on your website.

### ✔ Choose a design template for your group’s website landing pages

Select from available layout templates to set the visual style for your homepage and public-facing pages.

### ✔ Set up membership dues

Create membership tiers, set pricing, define renewal cycles, and configure any free trial periods your club may offer.

### ✔ Set up application form

If your club requires an application for new members, configure your application form fields and review settings.

### ✔ Set up profile form

Customize what information members can or must enter in their profiles (e.g., interests, skills, family details, etc.).

### ✔ Set up payment processing

Enable payment processing so your members can pay for dues and event tickets directly on your site.

***

You can work through the checklist in any order. Each task links directly to the relevant admin screen, and the progress bar at the top will update automatically as items are completed.

Completing the checklist gives you a fully functional and customized club site.

You can continue using your trial site without restrictions as you evaluate whether GroupFlow is the right platform for your organization.
