# Event Editing

> Edit event details, team roles, pricing, and logistics

# Event Editing

The Event Editing interface is used to configure all details of an event, from basic information to pricing and team roles.

This page applies to both the Event Organizer interface and the Admin Event Editor. Some options may only be available to event administrators, depending on group settings and permissions.

## Editing Flow

Event editing is organized into a step-by-step flow. Each section focuses on a specific aspect of the event.

Changes are not saved automatically. Be sure to use **Save & Next** as you move through each step.

You can move backward at any time using the **Back** button, or discard changes using **Reset**.

## Event Image

The event image appears at the top of the event page and in event listings.

You can:

* Upload or change the event image
* Remove the image entirely
* View the full-resolution version

Choosing a clear, relevant image helps members quickly recognize and understand the event.

## Venue

The Venue section defines where the event takes place.

You can:

* Select an existing venue
* Add a new venue
* Remove the venue from the event

Additional venue information can be added for details such as:

* Parking instructions
* Access codes
* Special arrival notes

If the event is virtual or hybrid, you can include a **link for a video call** instead of or in addition to a physical location.

## Team

The Team section defines who is responsible for creating, organizing, and supporting the event.

### Event Author

The Event Author is the member who originally created the draft event.

This role is informational and does not automatically grant publishing privileges.
